Tools & Tips to Win Big on Kentucky Derby 2021!

With little more than a week until the 2021 Kentucky Derby, the field continues to take shape. Dream Shake was announced to be skipping the race on Friday, with trainer Peter Eurton opting instead to send him the Pat Day Mile.

The defection opened a spot for Hozier but that Pioneerof the Nile colt, who finished sixth in the Arkansas Derby (G1) in his most recent race, will also not run.

Those two being out will allow King Fury to join the field for the Run for the Roses. Trained by Kenny McPeek, the Curlin colt won the Lexington Stakes (G2) over a sloppy track at Keeneland on April 10.

After that race, McPeek said King Fury would likely run in the Derby if given the opportunity. The colt has won at Churchill Downs once before, in the Street Sense Stakes in October.

On Saturday, it was announced that Get Her Number, trained by Peter Miller, will not be running in the Derby. As it stands now, Keepmeinmind will now be able to enter the race.
