The Wynn Las Vegas this week narrowed interests in its 2018 Kentucky Derby odds to 51 horses, many of whom have either run their last prep race or are soon to go in races that could qualify the colts to run May 5 at Churchill Downs.

One major takeaway in odds distributed late Monday? McKinzie, the 7-1 favorite this time last week, is off the board with trainer Bob Baffert having said the horse appears doubtful to make the Kentucky Derby.

Justify dropped a point to 6-1 as the favorite heading into his first and only points-paying prep, Saturday’s Grade 1 Santa Anita Derby. The precocious colt’s main competition, Bolt d’Oro, is a co-second Kentucky Derby choice at 8-1 along with Florida Derby winner Audible.

Among horses going in Saturday’s Grade 2 Blue Grass Stakes at Keeneland, reigning 2-year-old champion Good Magic with likely Grade 2 Wood Memorial favorite Enticed at 20-1.

Three new names were added to the board in this latest round: Santa Anita Derby longshots Pepe Tono (200-1) and Orbit Rain (250-1) along with Blue Grass contender Determinant (175-1).
