Kentucky Derby 2018 odds: Good Magic now the second choice

It seems the 2018 Kentucky Derby's new buzz horse is the same as the old one.

In new odds released Monday by the Wynn Las Vegas, champion 2-year-old Good Magic dropped to an 11-2 second choice behind unbeaten Justify, the current 14-5 favorite. They're odd lines, but a reflection of money taken by the racebook in recent days.

Following those two now with fewer than two weeks until the May 5 race at Churchill Downs are Magnum Moon (6-1), Mendelssohn (7-1), Bolt d'Oro (8-1) and Audible (9-1).

The Wynn's updated listings followed Monday's defections of Quip and the longshot, Gronkowski, and include the prospective field of 20 plus the so-called bubble horses whose connections are waiting for more contenders to drop.

The two horses new to the field are Instilled Regard (30-1) and Combatant (60-1). Both were defeated in their final, major prep races, but Instilled Regard won a Grade 3 stakes to open his season and Combatant regularly finished on the board in Oaklawn Park's series of races.

The Wynn's full current odds are below along with prices for horses to sweep the Preakness and Belmont Stakes, winning the Triple Crown. Look to the bottom right of the widget to go full screen.
