Kentucky Derby 2017 Tickets and Prices
As they do every year, tickets for Kentucky Derby 2017 have sold extraordinarily fast. Whether it’s the infield or millionaire’s row you are trying to get tickets to, be ready to grab them while you can.
If you’re looking to roam around Churchill Downs at a low cost, Kentucky Derby general admission tickets can still be purchased for $75, or $80 the day of the event on May 6. This includes access to the infield and the paddock where the horses get ready. Just know ahead of time that you will be rubbing elbows with approximately 70,000 people in the infield.
Individual tickets for grandstand reserve seating will cost you between $340-500 for bleacher-style seats. These are available on the first and second levels and run down the home stretch. For a stadium-style seat on the second level, the cost is $422-460. These prices include entrance on both Kentucky Oaks and Kentucky Derby days.
Box seats for six people range between $2,499-5,995 depending on the first, second, and third floor views. If you want the best view from higher seats, be prepared to pay for it.
Tables with eight seats for Millionaire’s Row will run you at least $36,000, but you do get to enjoy the atmosphere for both Kentucky Oaks and Kentucky Derby day. However, limited individual Millionaire’s Row tickets for Derby day can still be found online. If you want the tickets though, be ready to pay over $2,000, if not upwards of $5,000 per ticket.
If you’re lucky enough and receive an invite to the exclusive part of Churchill Downs known as The Mansion, prepare to dish out more than $15,000. The space is designed to host 320 people, and those select few receive a private elevator ride straight to the top.
