As
the hectic swirl of holiday shopping heads into the homestretch, here’s
a reminder that you can still place the ultimate gift – tickets to the 2014 Kentucky
Derby Presented by Yum! Brands and Longines Kentucky Oaks – beneath the tree in a neatly-wrapped package or in the stocking of a loved one.
Churchill Downs has seating available for purchase in the new Section 110 on the track’s historic Clubhouse turn, or first turn, for the 140th runnings of the Kentucky Oaks on Friday, May 2
and Kentucky Derby on Saturday, May 3.
Section 110
seating for the Derby and Oaks features the spectacular and iconic first
turn view of the historic Twin Spires, stadium-style flip-up seating
and each ticket includes complete food and beverages
in its purchase price.
The seating for Derby and Oaks 140 in Section 110 is available for purchase online in a two-day package at www.kentuckyderby.com.
Seating under cover in Section 110 for both days is available for
$799, while an uncovered seat for the two-celebration is available for
$698.
The exciting
seating area, now available in its second year, offers clear viewing of
the new 15,390 square-foot LED video “Big Board” that will be located
along the backstretch and will be in operation for
the 2014 Derby and Oaks. Other enhancements include additional restrooms
and wagering lines, larger food and beverage service areas and wider
aisles.
