The field has been drawn for the 139th running of the Kentucky Derby and Horse Racing Nation was on the scene. Most of the main participants left the Secretariat Lounge in good spirits after drawing favorable posts in the big race. Race favorites Orb and Verrazano drew #16 and #14 respectively, which left both trainers, Shug McGaughey and Todd Pletcher pleased. Third and fourth choices, Goldencents and Revolutionary also drew pills that left their connections feeling good about their chances on Saturday. Goldencents will flaunt his early speed from the 8 hole, while Calvin Borel will be able to work his rail skimming magic on Revolutionary from the 3 spot. Rosie Napravnik, seeking to become the first female Kentucky Derby winning rider, will leave from the #6 post position aboard her 15-1 hope, Mylute.
