Just Google Me the One to Beat in Barretts Debutante

Just Google Me returns to the scene of her debut victory against seven opponents in the $100,000 Barretts Debutante Saturday at Los Alamitos.
Scheduled for 6 ½ furlongs and restricted to 2-year-old fillies offered for purchase at any Barretts sale, the Debutante is the eighth of nine races. Post time Saturday is 2 p.m. Approximate post time for the Debutante is 5:30 p.m.
There will also be a lunch cooler giveaway – one per paid admission while supplies last – Saturday.
Trained by Scott Rollins for C T R Stables LLC, Just Google Me won at nearly 33-1 in her initial start July 3. After breaking from the rail in the field of eight California breds, the daughter of Stormin Fever and the Cryptoclearance mare Lila Paige rallied to win by three-quarters of a length under jockey Edwin Maldonado.
In two subsequent appearances at Del Mar, Just Google Me, who was purchased for $17,000 at the Barretts October sale last year, was twice stakes placed. She finished third in the CTBA July 31 and was second behind Patriotic Diamond when almost 20-1 in the Generous Portion Aug. 28. She’s earned $70,500.
Much troubled in Just Google Me’s victory, Sharp Holiday returned to win by 3 ½ lengths against $50,000 California bred maidens Aug. 21 at Del Mar.
Owned by E-racing.com and Janet Lyons and trained by Brian Koriner, the Thorn Song filly out of the Boundary mare Holiday Sale has banked $21,850.
Scarlet Emerald dropped to the $40,000 level to earn her maiden victory in her third start for a partnership that includes Dave Bernsen, David J. Lanzman Racing Stable and Rockingham Ranch Sept. 3 at Del Mar.
Trained by Peter Miller, the Desert Party filly out of the Dixieland Band mare Jena Jena has earned $26,650.
Sambazajammin was fourth in the Generous Portion for Dickman Legacy Ranch LLC and trainer John Brocklebank. The Heatseeker filly out of the Capote mare Cinema Paradisa has earned $76,310 while winning once in six races.
Runninforhoody ships from Northern California after chasing Stays in Vegas in the Wine Country Debutante Aug. 14 at Santa Rosa.
A first out winner at Sacramento July 16 for McLean Racing Stables and Darren Dent and trainer Aggie Ordonez, the daughter of Globalize and the Gold Market mare Marketable has banked $32,500 in her two starts
And in the End finished sixth of eight when 12-1 in her debut against $50,000 California breds Sept. 4 at Del Mar. The gray daughter of The Pamplemousse and the Chief’s Crown mare Tiara Glow collected $250 for the effort. Eddie Truman trains for owner-breeders Howard and Janet Siegel Racing LLC.
A daughter of Court Vision and the Sadler’s Wells mare Secretariat’s Soul, Miss Injustice debuts for owner-trainer Bobby Wayne Grayson.
Mesquite Dancer is winless in two starts for trainer Ed Moger, Jr. and owners Curt and Lila Lanning. The Lucky Pulpit filly out of the Huddle Up mare Mesquite was sixth in her Southern California debut 17 days ago at Del Mar. She’s earned $3,250.
