Just Google Me Nominated to Soviet Problem

Just Google Me, a winner in both of her starts at Los Alamitos, is the headliner among 11 2-year-old fillies nominated to the $100,000 Soviet Problem Stakes.
A one-mile race for horses bred or sired in California, the Soviet Problem will be run for the fourth time Saturday, Dec. 5, the third day of the Winter meet at Los Alamitos.
Owned by C T R Stables LLC and trained by Scott Rollins, Just Google Me, a daughter of Stormin Fever and the Cryptoclearance mare Lila Paige, broke her maiden at first asking when nearly 33-1 July 3 at Los Alamitos, then was a 9 ½ length winner of the Barretts Debutante when the 4-5 favorite Sept. 19.
Bred by Golden Eagle Farm, Just Google Me has earned $127,750 while winning twice in five starts.
The nominees also include Patriotic Diamond, who broke her maiden in the Generous Portion Stakes Aug. 28 at Del Mar and is 2-for-4 with earnings of $153,300 for owners for Diamond 100 Racing Club and trainer Patrick Biancone, and Be a Lady, who has won two in a row and was claimed for $25,000 by trainer Jack Carava for owner Chris Curtis out of her latest victory Nov. 19 at Del Mar.
The other nominees to the Soviet Problem, which was won a year ago by My Fiona, are And in the End, fourth behind Just Google Me in the Debutante in her lone local appearance, Baby Bea Scattin, Casino Fever, Lucky to Win, a game maiden winner Nov. 20 at Del Mar for owner-breeder Harris Farms, Inc. and trainer Sean McCarthy, Roo’s Valentine, Run Like the Boss, Run for Retts and Yodelsong.

Opening day of the Winter meet is Thursday, Dec. 3. Entries for the Soviet Problem will be taken Wednesday, Dec. 2.
