Jim Dandy 2016: Odds and Picks

Tomorrow’s Grade 2 Jim Dandy looks to be a battle of the greys with Belmont champion Creator and runner-up Destin taking another stab at each other. Multiple Grade 2 winner Mohaymen is throwing his hat into the ring as well. Picks can be found on Jim Dandy 2016: Odds and Analysis from A New York State of Racing.

Below are the Jim Dandy odds and post positions as seen on the HRN Stakes Tracker.

While Gettysburg led the Belmont field with Destin in second, Creator came from behind and nabbed Destin by a nose. Creator had 1 1/2 miles to run in the Belmont, but tomorrow he will shorten up to 1 1/8 miles, leaving him less distance to make up ground on his rival.

Mohaymen will be making his first start since finishing fourth in the Kentucky Derby and should be another strong competitor. He won both the Holy Bull and Fountain of Youth earlier this year before suffering his first defeat in the Florida Derby.

Governor Malibu finished an impressive fourth last time out in the Belmont after encountering traffic problems. Though he has yet to win a graded stake, the colt has shown a lot of potential.
