J J's Lucky Train gallops up to Haskell

Trainer Bill Anderson reported Wednesday morning that Fresh Start Stable’s J J’s Lucky Train is “doing really well” and will simply gallop up to Sunday’s Resorts Casino Hotel Haskell Invitational.

According to Anderson, the 3-year-old son of Silver Train arrived at Monmouth Park on Tuesday morning from his Parx Racing home base.

“His last gallop was very strong,” Anderson said.  “He went a mile and a half and his last five-eighths was exceptionally strong.”

J J’s Lucky Train is exiting a second-place finish in the Woody Stephens (G2) at Belmont Park last out and will be ridden in the Resorts Casino Hotel Haskell by Paco Lopez.
