It's Me Mom Wires Inaugural Stakes

Mom is always right.

Martinez became the first rider to earn a second win in the $100,000 Inaugural Stakes at Presque Isle Downs & Casino as he guided It's Me Mom to a 21/2-length victory over Sam's Bliss on Tuesday, opening night of the fourth 100-date meet.

It's Me Mom, who broke her maiden as a 2-year-old and won the Debutante Stakes at Presque Isle Downs in 2010, went wire-to-wire in the six-furlong race for 3-year-old fillies.
