Sky Racing World commenced the simulcast distribution of Italy racing across North America on Friday with live harness racing action from Milan. This historic moment also benefits from the commingling of pari-mutuel wagering B-pools, facilitated by Sky Racing World via Premier Gateway International.

Sky Racing World and Epiqa, part of the Snaitech Group, have entered into a multi-faceted agreement to distribute Italy racing around the world. The offering includes thoroughbred and harness racing from eleven racetracks around Italy, including the world-renowned Ippodromo Snai San Siro in Milan. The spring thoroughbred season in Milan runs April through July, typically with two cards per week.

The racetracks for simulcast are: Florence (harness and thoroughbreds), Follonica (harness and thoroughbreds), Livorno (thoroughbreds), Milan (harness and thoroughbreds), Montecatini (harness), Sassari (thoroughbreds), Albenga (harness), Chilivani (thoroughbreds), Padova (harness), Taranto (harness) and Foggia (harness).

The thoroughbred racing industry in Italy has a storied history with legendary horses like Falbrav winning the Gran Premio di Milano in Italy as well as Group 1 races in Japan, France, the United Kingdom and Hong Kong. The most famous racing export from Italy of modern times is undoubtedly the Milan-born jockey Frankie Dettori who has thrilled racing fans all over the globe.

In North America, all races will be live-streamed each morning on the new Sky Racing World App, skyracingworld.com and major ADW platforms. Sky Racing World has partnered with Racing and Sports to develop and deliver customized past performances, race data, tipping guides and runner comments. Fans can also get free access to past performances through the Sky Racing World website. US players will be able to access the pari-mutuel wagering pools via Sky Racing World’s ADW partners.

This coverage for Horse Racing Nation is made possible through a sponsorship by Sky Racing World.
