It's Our Time, who created plenty of buzz last month with an overpowering win in his debut at Saratoga, is "on schedule" to make his next start in the Grade 1 Champagne Stakes on Oct. 4 during the Belmont at the Big A meet.

The Not This Time colt trained by Tom Amoss has been working at Churchill Downs, most recently breezing four furlongs in 48.2 seconds Wednesday. Amoss said It's Our Time will ship to New York the week before the Champagne. Luis Saez, who rode the colt at Saratoga, again will be in the irons.

It's Our Time earned a 129 Horse Racing Nation speed figure in his debut win, where he won by 17 3/4 lengths in a field of nine going 6 1/2 furlongs.

He's "pretty straightforward" to train, Amoss said. "He's the kind of horse that enjoys his job. Not overly aggressive and very, very smart in terms of responsiveness to the rider on his back."

The one-mile Champagne is a win-and-you're-in for the Breeders' Cup Juvenile on Oct. 31 at Del Mar.
