Inspiring New Menus at Gulfstream's Signature Restaurants
When Gulfstream Park opens Saturday, December 6 for its Championship Meet of world-class Thoroughbred racing, signature restaurants Ten Palms and The Fountain Club will offer a variety of new menu items, from delicious appetizers to savory entrees to scrumptious desserts to inventive cocktails.
Ten Palms, which offers sweeping views of Gulfstream's track, starts with tempting appetizers including Florida Stone Crabs, Gulfstream Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail, Meatball Sliders and the Ten Palm and Pegasus Salad.
All steaks and burgers will be grass fed and grass finished and come to Ten Palms from its very own Adena Farm in Ocala. Along with a 12-ounce New York Strip, Filet Mignon and specialty burgers, chicken, Cuban and fish sandwiches and a Maine lobster roll, Ten Palms will offer Shrimp Provencal, Angelina's Rustica Pasta and Penna Ala Vodka.
Four pizzas will also offer be available, including the Sunshine Millions BBQ, Fountain of Youth Italiano, Holy Bull 3 Cheese Pizza and Florida Derby Margarita.
Desserts will include Key Lime Pie, Butterfinger Cheesecake, Homemade Strawberry Shortcake and Red Velvet Cake.
The Fountain Club, Gulfstream's popular restaurant that overlooks the walking ring and shooting fountains, will offer appetizers ranging from Gator Bites, Key West Garlic Shrimp and and Ahi Tuna Taco, to entrees and sandwiches featuring Oyster Po Boy and Southern Fried Catfish Platter to grass fed and finished burgers.
"Along with its world-class racing and state-of-the-art facility, Gulfstream is also known for its fine dining and first-class service. We're sure the new additions to our menu will continue the tradition," said Gulfstream's Director of Food and Beverage Mark Ventresca.
