Indiana Grand reduces Pick 4 takeout to 12 percent on Wednesdays

As the 2016 racing season nears completion Saturday, Oct. 29, Indiana Grand Racing & Casino wants to reward horseplayers who have supported the meet with an added bonus on Wednesdays for the remainder of the meet. Beginning Wednesday, Oct. 12, the Pick 4 wagers on the card will have a reduced takeout to 12 percent.

Indiana Grand offers a Pick 4 on races 2, 3, 4 & 5 and again on races 5, 6, 7 & 8. Both wagers will offer the discounted takeout rate from the regular 21 ½ percent takeout rate. The discount will be in effect for Wednesday, Oct. 12, Wednesday, Oct. 19 and Wednesday, Oct. 26.

“Featuring our Pick 4s on Wednesday with a drastically reduced takeout rate is a great way to provide some added interest to our mid-week racing program,” said Jon Schuster, vice president and general manager of racing. “We have had an exceptional year and we want to give horseplayers an edge when wagering on our cards for the final three Wednesdays.”

First post on Wednesdays at Indiana Grand is 2:05 p.m. The first Pick 4 begins with Race 2, with an estimated post time of 2:33 p.m. The second Pick 4, which begins in Race 5, has an estimated post time of 3:57 p.m.

Live Thoroughbred and Quarter Horse racing is conducted Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday at 2:05 PM EST with Saturday racing beginning at 6:05 PM. The 120-day season runs through Saturday, Oct. 29.
