How to watch: Preakness 2018 TV, live stream and radio info
Will Justify continue his run to a Triple Crown sweep, or is champion 2-year-old Good Magic poised for an upset in his rematch with the undefeated Kentucky Derby winner?
We’ll find out Saturday in the 2018 Preakness Stakes at the Pimlico Race Course. Contested for the 143rd time, the Preakness represents the middle jewel of American racing’s Triple Crown, preceding the June 9 Belmont Stakes in New York.
A full array of traditional TV and live stream options are available to follow the races this weekend, which include Friday’s Black-Eyed Susan day at Pimlico featuring the fillies, similar to Churchill Downs’ Kentucky Oaks-Derby double.
Here’s how to watch, with the Preakness’ post time set for 6:20 p.m. ET Saturday…
TV
NBC and the NBC Sports Network will carry the action both days at Pimlico.
Friday: 3-5 p.m. (NBCSN)
Saturday: 2:30-5 p.m. (NBCSN); 5 p.m.-7:15 p.m. (NBC)
Live Stream
In addition to NBC’s online platforms, Pimlico’s races can be viewed for free at XBTV.com, which will also feature on-site interviews and insights from expert handicappers. Most advanced deposit wagering platforms, such as TVG and NYRA Bets, stream track feeds as well.
Radio
Horse Racing Radio Network will provide more than 10 hours of on-site Preakness coverage, starting at 3 p.m. Friday and continuing at 3 p.m. Saturday with undercard stakes leading up to the main event. Hear the broadcast on Sirius/XM 93 or at horseracingradio.net.
