The Pick 6 puzzle goes unsolved for the second consecutive day at Saratoga into the first Saturday card of the meet. A total of $532,907 carries over, as the only horses that were covered in the final race on Friday were No. 2 Rossa Veloce, No. 5 Vallarand, and No. 9 Shesawildjoker. None of those three hit the board as No. 3 Khali Magic triggered the carryover.

Horse Racing Nation's
Pro Reports offer insight for horseplayers on a multitude of valuable angles and can assist those looking to put together a ticket.

In the first leg of the sequence, jockey Flavien Prat rides the top Power Pick No. 8 Alcools (5-2 ML). Prat is still seeking his first win at this meet going in to Saturday's card, but has been hitting the board over the first two days. Alcools will break to the outside of the likely speed in this race, No. 6 Musical America (15-1 ML) and should get a decent trip stalking that one.

A likely single for many comes in Race 7. No. 5 Reinvestment Risk (3-5 ML) is not included in the Horses to Single Report. Neither is No. 3 Bleeker Street (6-5 ML) in the third leg, the Grade 1 Diana. This speaks to the level of competition present at Saratoga that neither of this short-priced favorites for trainer Chad Brown show up on the report.

Reinvestment Risk drops in class from the Grade 1 Churchill Downs Stakes won by Jackie's Warrior. He certainly has the class edge on this field, but he'll have to figure out a stalking trip behind horses such as No. 7 River Dog (20-1 ML) and No. 8 Sibelius (15-1 ML). According to the Pace Report, River Dog may be able to get an easy lead with soft fractions.

Bleeker Street is undefeated in seven career starts so far and is already a Grade 1 winner. Race 8, the Diana, will be her second start in Grade 1 company. One of four entrants for trainer Chad Brown, she's shown that she can close into slow paces and overcome race dynamics that would normally serve against most.

In Race 9, the Sire Moves Report highlights a few contenders that are switching surfaces and/or distances. No. 2 Royal Spirit (6-1 ML) is the shortest price of the three that show up on the report. He returns to the grass for trainer Todd Pletcher, a surface that he's had some success on before.

No. 7 Constitutionlawyer (15-1 ML) tries the turf for the first time and isn't predicted to relish the surface. He has run on the synthetic once previously, but that was against tougher competition.

The First-Time Starter Insights Report also offers insight on second time starters, perfect for the Grade 3 Sanford which is Race 10. No. 4 Forte's (5-2 ML) sire Violence is 21 percent with his second time starters. His HRN Impact score is +23 percent, indicating that his progeny are being under bet in their second start.

No. 5 Curly Jack (6-1 ML) is by freshman sire Good Magic, which is why the HRN Impact score is such a high +168 percent. Good Magic has only had a sample size of four second time starters, two of which were winners.

In the finale, the top Power Pick is No. 4 Diva Ready (2-1 ML). She's also projected to be in front early and speed is always dangerous on the turf in New York.
