The Pick 6 puzzle goes unsolved yet again at Belmont Park, triggering a double carryover of $219,428.68 into Saturday's card on June 18. No favorites were successful in the first five races of the sequence on Friday, guaranteeing no winning tickets into the final leg. Not only does the Pick 6 carryover, the Pick 5 does as well. Horse Racing Nation's Pro Reports offer insight into how bettors can approach the Saturday card and scoop the carryover pool.

Another difficult sequence to navigate, the Pick 6 begins in Race 5. Power Picks are available for every track, every day and have been firing at 38 percent at Belmont Park over the last 14 days. The top pick here is No. 7 Closing Deals (3-1 ML). The lone 3-year-old in here facing older, she's also the most lightly raced in the field. A winner of two of her four races, she's seeking back-to-back victories.

In Race 6, No. 1 Masen (GB) (6-5 ML) is a likely free square for many and the Horses to Single Report agrees. He's a deserving favorite in this Grade 3 Poker Stakes and seeks his second win in the country. His stateside debut was a strong runner-up effort in the Grade 1 Maker's Mark Mile behind Shirl's Speight.

Race 7 features two that are switching from the synthetic to the turf. The Sire Moves Report highlights horses making surface and distance changes. No. 10 Beauty Amazed (8-1 ML) is by More Than Ready, who has yet to sire a wet synthetic winner. His turf progeny however are winning at seven percent when going a route of ground.

No. 3 Fighter in the Win (5-1 ML) also switches from the tapeta and is by Creative Cause who also hasn't sired a wet synthetic winner. Creative Cause progeny win at 14 percent when turf routing. These are two horses to consider as possible move-ups on the grass.

The top Power Pick in Race 8 is No. 4 Two Thirty Five (3-1 ML) and he'll be ridden by Dylan Davis, who is currently the meet's leading rider. Davis is winning at 21 percent with an HRN Impact Score of +24 percent. This indicates that he's still being underbet, according to the Hot Jockey Report.

One of the fastest paces of the day is predicted in Race 9, where the Pace Report suggests that No. 7 Missionatthespa (9-2 ML) will be the one dictating fractions. Two horses also show up on the Sire Moves Report here. No. 5 Mr Kringle (7-2 ML) may be one to avoid at a short price. His sire Shakin It Up is 0-for-22 with turf sprinters.

In contrast, the slowest pace of the day is predicted in the final leg of the sequence. If No. 6 Acamar (8-1 ML) is the early leader setting tepid fractions, he's a must-use on any tickets. Early speed in slow turf races can be a winning angle.
