VIDEO: How to play Belmont's $80,000+ Pick 6 carryover Thursday

In addition to the mandatory payout of the Rainbow 6 at Gulfstream Park, horseplayers also have an opportunity at carryover money in the Pick 6 at Belmont Park. Long-shot Vindatude in Sunday's finale meant that no winning tickets had all six winners, triggering more than $80,000 to be carried over to Thursday's card. 

Handicapper Sara Elbadwi is joined by David Levitch, whose selections are available for multiple tracks on a weekly basis. He offers top picks, wagering strategies and multirace ticket ideas. Levitch and Elbadwi agree that the sequence seems approachable at first glance. First-time starters appear most dangerous in the second leg. Races 6 and 8 seem fairly wide open. An agreed-upon single would be No. 7 Price Discipline in Race 7 for trainer Chad Brown and jockey Flavien Prat.
