How to bet the all-stakes Pick 4 on Haskell preview day

The only thing more robust than the 14-race card on Saturday at Monmouth Park is the amount of information available to bettors here at Horse Racing Nation.

An all-stakes Pick 4 anchors Haskell preview day, and it's a Haskell alumnus who headlines the featured Salvator Mile in the form of Hot Rod Charlie, who when last seen at the "Shore's Greatest Stretch "finished first in the 2021 Haskell but was disqualified.

A quick survey of HRN's top analysis products indicates that Hot Rod Charlie will be tough in his first start back in North America after a second-place finish in the Dubai World Cup on March 26 in the United Arab Emirates as both Power Picks and Super Screener consider the Grade 1 winner to be extremely tough in this spot.

So where is the opportunity away from the Salvator Mile? Mike Shutty's Super Screener listed several potentially $10-plus horses in the middle legs of the Pick 4 among its "top win contenders."

The pick 4 is split evenly with a pair of routes on both turf and dirt. The HRN Track Trends Tool indicates that both surfaces play fairly overall with perhaps a small preference to the inside.

HRN's newest product, Charting Horse Value, is the lone dissenter among Salvator Mile prognostications. Check the CHV page and subscribe to see who it gives an upset chance to closing out the Pick 4.

First post is 12:45 p.m. EDT with the all-stakes Pick 4 beginning at 4:47. The Salvator Mile goes at 6:15.
