HorseCenter: Top contenders for Kentucky Derby 2022

This week on HorseCenter, your hosts Brian Zipse and Matt Shifman reveal their top contenders for the 2022 Kentucky Derby and the Kentucky Oaks, as well as analysis and picks for Saturday's Lexington Stakes (G3) at Keeneland.

It is only three weeks until the first Friday and Saturday of May, and the guys explain how the final prep races impacted their choices for the top five contenders for the Derby and the Oaks.

The Lexington Stakes at Keeneland on Saturday provides the final chance for horses to improve their chances to secure a spot in the starting gate for the Run for the Roses.

 

Next week, Matt and Brian will present their pace projector for the entire Derby field as they begin their analysis of the big race.
