Hong Kong value play: AI points to 11-1 repeat winner

Hong Kong's 2024-25 season continues with racing on Friday night at Sha Tin 1:00 a.m. EDT.

The AI model projects Volcanic Spark (no 13), a last out winner, will run competitively while moving up in class and dropping weight in this 1600m turf race.

A horse with a history of closing late in the stretch, the wide draw will prompt jockey Andrea Atzeni to take back and save ground while multiple horses with speed to the inside (numbers 1,4,6,11) should set an honest pace. 

With a history of finding the board, the model's projected odds of 11-1 indicate value to win and show.
