Race 1: Hau Wong Handicap

No. 13 Star Of Glory slots in light and gets his opportunity. He finished close last start and can take another step forward this weekend. One to beat. No. 5 M M Nebula is racing well and gets a handy five pounds taken off his back. He has a suitable gate and should get every chance. No. 6 Colourful Baron has been in the right vein of form all season. This is the right grade for him and Zac Purton’s pairing bears close watching. No. 11 Smart Beauty has consistency on his side and should be around the mark once more.

Race 2: Junction Handicap

No. 2 Fun Elite has his fair share of quality and he’s found the right vein of form again. He still has further improvement to come and deserves respect here, especially over a suitable course and distance. No. 4 Panda is chasing back-to-back wins. He was superb last start and can prove competitive once more. No. 14 Prosecco has no weight. He’s yet to win, however, has been around the mark for the majority of his career. He’s worth respecting. No. 7 Deep Pursuit has had setbacks but is able. Keep safe.

Race 3: Nam Kok Handicap

No. 5 Fashion Legend caught the eye late last start. Expecting further improvement from him here, especially after that effort and stepping away from the ideal gate. No. 3 Eighty Light Years is nothing short of consistent and this contest shouldn’t be an exception. Zac Purton hops up and he’s in super form at the minute. No. 2 Hasten Delight makes his debut in Hong Kong. He’s been trialling the house down and gets the services of Hugh Bowman first-up. No. 6 Pins Prince is next in line. Don’t discount.

Race 4: Lung Kong Handicap (2nd Section)

No. 2 Star Line makes the dip to Class 4. He’s suited in this grade and his first-time pairing with Hugh Bowman is worth close attention. One to beat. No. 9 Silver Destiny has been racing well across two starts. He can continue to improve and this contest is well within his grasp. The inside gate will afford him a sweet run. No. 5 Aeroinvincible did super to finish second first-up in Hong Kong. He gets his opportunity. No. 6 All Riches returned in excellent order first-up. He can advance further forward this weekend.

Race 5: The Lok Sin Tong Cup Handicap

No. 5 Gimme Five performed strongly on debut. He can advance further forward following this first-up effort, especially with Hugh Bowman taking riding duties. No. 10 Packing Prospect continues to improve and James McDonald hops aboard once again. There’s ability there and a win is coming soon. No. 1 Star Club is lightly raced but was an impressive winner three runs back. He gets his chance. No. 7 King Miles makes his debut. His latest trial was outstanding and he’s capable of putting his best foot forward first-up.

Race 6: Lung Kong Handicap (1st Section)

No. 2 Voyage Samurai won well on debut and there’s plenty of scope for improvement. He is the one to beat here off that win, especially from a suitable draw. No. 1 Forever Charm dips in grade and he comes into this as a surprise packet. He can contend under Alexis Badel. Only concern is the wide draw. No. 7 Patch Of Theta has been consistent across four starts and he gets another shot here under Hugh Bowman. No. 11 River Views slots in light and draws favourably. Don’t discount.

Race 7: Queen’s Silver Jubilee Cup (G1)

No. 10 Galaxy Patch is a serious talent and he comes into this race at the right time. He will improve from his most recent run and has shown that he has the potential to make his presence felt here. Worth taking a chance on. No. 1 Lucky Sweynesse was slow away last start and his winning chances were subsequently gone. He can atone for that effort and give this group something to worry about. No. 3 Beauty Eternal is hard to get a read on but he has the quality. No. 5 Lucky With You is consistent and gets his chance.

Race 8: Nga Tsin Wai Handicap

No. 4 Stellar Express was second on debut and he can advance forward after that run. He’s talented and is the one to beat here with further improvement. No. 8 James Tak is searching for a third win at his fifth start. He’s hit the ground running and his best form could easily be still to come. No. 6 Baby Crystal was a strong winner two runs back. He returns to his preferred course and distance this weekend. Major threat. No. 2 Heroic Master is consistent and he gets another chance here.

Race 9: South Wall Handicap

No. 3 Happy Together is a serious talent and he can continue his ascent this weekend. He was luckless two starts ago before being beaten at Happy Valley late last month. He’s consistent and open to further improvement. No. 14 Sweet Encounter did well as a featherweight chance last start and he gets another shot here. No. 1 Super Sunny Sing was a strong winner last time and he’s always had that quality about him, especially over this course and distance. No. 12 C P Brave is next in line. He’s favoured under 116 pounds.

Race 10: Tak Ku Ling Handicap

No. 4 Giddy Up is seeking back-to-back wins. He’s found his feet and looks ready to further ascend the handicap, especially after his latest effort which was super impressive. No. 7 Beauty Fit is consistent and doesn’t know how to run a bad race. He’ll be fighting out another finish. No. 1 Universal Horizon was a tough winner two starts ago. He needs to overcome gate 12 but he is in the right vein of form to accomplish that feat. No. 3 Illuminous can bounce back. He left himself with too much to do last start.
