Race 1: L’Oreal Paris Handicap

No. 4 Super Contented was sound first-up. Predicting he can improve sharply with that run under his belt, especially as he made a nice amount of ground up down the outside of the track that day. The apprentice takes a crucial 10 pounds off his back. No. 5 Casa Legend has the awkward draw to overcome. He tends to settle at the rear, so it shouldn’t prove too much of a hindrance, especially with Zac Purton engaged. No. 3 Noble One has returned in ideal form this season. No. 6 Apex Top can lead as he has done previously. Keep safe.

He’s been working well and his latest trial was sound. He’s worth a shot. No. 7 Parents’ Love has trialed well and looks to have plenty of early ability and speed. Expecting he rolls to the front here for the in-form Angus Chung, who takes a favorable seven pounds off with his apprentice claim. No. 11 Woodfire Champ can improve after a solid first-up effort. No. 4 Multisuper is next best.

Race 4: Canmake Tokyo Handicap

No. 7 Master Hero is racing well and remains fit enough to win this contest. He’s in the right vein of form and the seven pounds coming off is a big help from Angus Chung who, scored a midweek treble. No. 10 Aestheticism has found his feet and comes into this following a pair of smart placings over the course and distance. He can continue to improve. No. 14 President’s Choice slots in light and is a threat. He just needs luck from an outside draw. No. 9 Pakistan Friend can lead this group. He’s in super form. Keep safe.

Race 5: Eleanor Handicap

No. 7 Happy Together is a superb talent and he showed that he’d improved a stack with the manner of his win last start. Slight concern about the tempo this week, nevertheless, he should be able to find the right spot and challenge this group. No. 6 Ching should get the gun run from the draw. He’s a smart talent who, might just get the race run to suit. No. 1 The Best Peach continues to improve and Tony Cruz clearly has a high opinion of this guy. He gets his chance in a hot race. No. 8 Superb Boy can roll forward. Don’t discount.

Race 6: La Colline Handicap

No. 5 Club Soda makes his debut following several trials. He caught the eye in his latest effort and if he manages to offset the draw, then he shapes as a leading player. Take a chance on him as he comes from the right yard. No. 8 Super Wise Dragon was impeded last start. He can improve following that effort, which saw him cramped for room late on while he was roaring home. No. 10 Natural Gold can race on the speed and get his opportunity. No. 1 Top Top Tea is capable and his latest effort was sound. Next in line.

Race 7: Sa Sa Ladies’ Purse Handicap (G3)

He’s ready to continue his ascent. No. 7 Super Sunny Sing continues to make the necessary advancements. Expecting him to take another step forward here, even against stiff opposition. No. 1 Money Catcher has the class and racing pattern to prove a formidable opponent. No. 2 Encountered gets his opportunity. He ran well last time out.

Race 8: Suisse Programme Handicap

No. 5 Pins Prince has returned to a competitive mark. He has a suitable draw here for Zac Purton and, his last two runs have been nothing short of sound. He can win. No. 6 Chilli Baba caught the eye with a fast-finishing effort last time out. He can improve following that performance. No. 4 Always Fluke has some class and remains in solid form following his win two starts ago. No. 9 River Views has narrowly missed twice this season. Expecting he rolls forward and give this contest a good shake.

He can mix his form but he’s good on his day.

Race 10: Neogence Handicap

No. 6 Yellowfin was the victor of a strong race first-up over the improving Taj Dragon, who has since come out and won. This is good form and his racing pattern could see him prove tough to reel in. One to beat. No. 7 Green N White was impressive when winning last start. He’ll need to improve again in this grade, however, he appears capable. No. 11 Beauty Fit knows how to win in this grade. He hasn’t won for a while though, but he gets his chance here under a light weight. Take an each way ticket. No. 5 Good Buddy is next in line.
