Hong Kong: Previewing the jockeys championship

The International Jockeys' Championship, set to take place Wednesday at Hong Kong's Happy Valley Racecourse, brings together 12 international and local jockeys for an intense evening vying for the coveted IJC title, awarded to the rider with the highest points across the event's four races.

The International Jockeys’ Championship is one of the most prestigious jockey challenges in the world, with such legendary riders as Frankie Dettori and Ryan Moore taking the crown in previous years. The four races together are worth $959,196 in prize money, along with total bonus awards of $127,892 for the three most successful riders.
