Royal Ascot race order, post times; world betting pool returns
The Hong Kong Jockey Club, in partnership with overseas partners, will again offer the Ascot World Pool for Royal Ascot 2020 after the success of last year’s launch. The pari-mutuel-based World Pool will ensure maximum liquidity and stronger opportunities for customers across the globe on the Royal Ascot meeting.
The Club will simulcast all five days of Royal Ascot, from Tuesday through Saturday, June 20. The historic meeting features eight Group 1 races of world renown, including the Queen Anne Stakes, the King’s Stand Stakes, the St James’s Palace Stakes, the Prince of Wales’s Stakes, the Gold Cup and the Diamond Jubilee Stakes, as well as eight Group 2 contests and three Group 3 events.
For the first time in its history the Royal meeting will take place without spectators due to the coronavirus pandemic. Various amendments have been made to the program with six handicap races added to facilitate extra runners, along with changes to the timing of some of the signature races.
In the United States, the races can be seen on NBC Sports Network, NBCSports.com or through the NBC Sports app.
