Hong Kong racing is at Sha Tin Wednesday morning at 6:15 a.m. EST.

Free past performances are available at Horse Racing Nation as well as full card selections. And for more free handicapping information, visit the Hong Kong Jockey Club website.

This season we are going to be using our Hong Kong AI analysis developed for HRN's machine learning and advanced analytics.

Race 3: Trifecta 9 with 5,7,11 with 2,5,7,11

This is an all-dirt Wednesday night card at Sha Tin. Thus, there is not a lot of historical data on which to base computer estimates.

The model projects Racingrace (no 9) to be the top overall speed at 5-1 odds. With a good draw and early speed, he should be able to save ground and get a good trip.

Three other horses are projected to be competitive for the top overall speed and are also projected to be approximately 5-1 odds: Robot Knight (no 5), Dragon Air Force (no 7) and Nebraskan (no 2).

Of these three, Nebraskan ran well last out on the dirt and has elite jockey James McDonald aboard but is drawn the widest of this competitive group.

Of the remaining horses, Hinokami Kagura (no 11) may be a factor at 9-1 odds.
