Holy Bull Field Taking Shape

The field for Saturday’s highly-anticipated renewal of the $150,000 Holy Bull Stakes (G3) at Gulfstream Park continues to take shape with a field of seven to 10 3-year-olds expected. Robert LaPenta’s Jackson Bend will likely be favored in the one-turn, one-mile test.

Gulfstream racing officials list seven confirmed for the race. In addition to Jackson Bend there is Louis Lazzinarro and partners’ Homeboykris, Dogwood Stable’s Aikenite, William Schettine’s  Piscitelli, Fox Hill Farm’s Winslow Homer, Klaravich Stables and William Lawrence’s Litigation Risk and Kramer Stables LLC and William Rosenfeld’s Thank U Philippe.

Listed as possible starters are Gary and Mary West’s Callide Valley, Lucky Star Racing’s Peppi Knows and Vinery Stable’s Wild Lime.
