Hessonite will attempt to turn the tables on Gitchee Goomie when the two New York-breds meet for the fourth time this year in Friday’s $150,000 Yaddo at 1 1/16 miles on the turf.

Recent winner of the Irish Linnet overnight stakes, the 4-year-old Hessonite finished second, beaten a half-length by Gitchee Goomie in both the Dr. James Penny Memorial on July 3 at Parx Racing and the Mount Vernon on May 27 at Belmont Park. In their other 2012 meeting, Hessonite finished sixth behind winner Winter Memories and runner-up Gitchee Goomie in the Grade 3 Beaugay on May 5 at Belmont Park.

The 7-5 favorite on the morning line, Gitchee Goomie, a daughter of City Zip, was second to Pinch Pie in her 5-year-old debut, an optional claimer at Gulfstream Park. Alan Garcia will ride from the rail.

Saratogas leading jockey, Ramon Dominguez, will be aboard Hessonite as she leaves from post position 5 at 8-5 on the morning line.

Rounding out the field are Considerate, Elusive Rumor, Dreaming of Cara, Hot Splash and Mystic City.
