Havre De Grace tracked the pace in third and ran down Switch in late stretch to win Friday's Apple Blossom from Oaklawn Park.

Absinthe Minded took full advantage of her inside draw and set reasonable splits and was tracked throughout by Switch. Havre De Grace sat comfortably behind the top pair.

The two early runners hooked up in the stretch and Switch grabbed a short lead in the lane. Havre De Grace started gaining momentum and smartly rallied down the middle to get the job done.

The Larry Jones trainee completed her eight and one-half furlong journey in 1:42.19 and paid $3 to win.

Switch finished 2nd and pacesetter Absinthe Minded was 3rd for leading trainer Wayne Lukas.
