Havelock Faces Full Field in Woodford

Silverton Hill LLC’s Havelock, winner of the Grade 2 Play the King at Woodbine in August, heads an overflow field for the 15th running of the $150,000 Woodford at 5½ furlongs on the grass.

 

The Woodford is the first of five graded stakes on Saturday’s 10-race card with a 3:27 p.m. (ET) post time.

 

Trained by Darrin Miller, Havelock is undefeated in three grass starts in 2011 with one of those victories coming in allowance company here this spring. Robby Albarado has the riding assignment on Havelock, who will break from post position five.
