Halpern leaving California Thoroughbred Trainers post

Ed Halpern will step down as executive director and general counsel for the California Thoroughbred Trainers at the end of the year when his contract expires.

Halpern’s tenure will end within months of Drew Couto’s departure as president of the Thoroughbred Owners of California.
