HRRN Debuts New Show This Week

Horse Racing Radio Network (HRRN), the Eclipse Award-winning broadcast organization based in Lexington, KY announced today, they are once again taking the show on the road.  Beginning Wednesday, September 26, HRRN will host their extensive menu of live shows from Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, California each day. 

 

Twenty hours of live race coverage begins Wednesday afternoon from 3:00-7:00 ET with the network's new HRRNLive! show featuring daily analysis and live calls of races from across the country.  HRRNLive! can be heard nationwide, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons on XM channel 209 and on SiriusXM Internet/Smartphone channel 961. 

 

HRRN will also introduce a new one-hour show as part of its HRRNLive! coverage this week.  The last hour of each HRRNLive! show from 6:00-7:00 ET will include the Final Furlong showcasing a different format each day:

 

Wednesday Final Furlong:  Trainer Talk - featuring interviews with racing?s top trainers

Thursday Final Furlong:  Listener Call In Show. Fans and horsemen share their thoughts on racing

Friday Final Furlong:  Handicapping Show. HRRN analysts preview the biggest races of the weekend

On Saturday, HRRN returns with their popular Equine Forum show from 8:00-10:00 a.m. ET and live coverage of all eleven Breeders? Cup Challenge races contested at Belmont and Santa Anita Saturday afternoon from 3:00-9:00 ET.  The six-hour broadcast can be heard nationwide on select HRRN affiliates, SiriusXM and will be streamed live on the HRRN website, horseracingradio.net.  Fans can see a complete listing of affiliates, SiriusXM channel information on the HRRN site.

 

HRRN President Mike Penna will anchor the coverage along with analyst Jude Feld.  Elizabeth Ellis and Chad Summers will provide paddock reports and commentary.
