Gulfstream Park's 20-cent Rainbow 6 went unsolved for the 45th racing day in a row Sunday, producing a carryover jackpot to $1,852,653.42 for Wednesday’s program.

First-race post time Wednesday is set for 1:15 p.m.

Multiple tickets with all six winners Sunday were each worth $19,507.96.

The carryover jackpot is only paid out when there is a single unique ticket sold with all six winners. On days when there is no unique ticket, 70 percent of that day’s pool goes back to those bettors holding tickets with the most winners, while 30 percent is carried over to the jackpot pool.

The Rainbow 6 was last solved July 6, when one lucky bettor cashed a $173,583.90 jackpot payoff.

The carryover jackpot stood at $1,763,111 at the start of Rainbow 6 wagering on the day, when a total of $373,127 was bet into the multi-race pool.

With this closing week of
Gulfstream’s Summer Meet, the Rainbow 6 is set for a mandatory payout on Sunday should no bettor cash a unique ticket before then. Track officials estimate the pool could reach $10 million.
