The mandatory payout of the 20-cent Rainbow 6 results at Gulfstream Park yielded an $11,600.60 payout to those bettors holding tickets with all six winners Sunday.
The Rainbow 6 carryover jackpot stood at $3,612,593.91 at the start of wagering Sunday, when $10,675,853 was bet into the pool.
The popular multi-race wager went unsolved for 41 consecutive racing days of the 2019-2020 Championship Meet prior to Sunday’s mandatory payout.
The Rainbow 6 jackpot pool is usually only paid out when there is a single unique ticket sold with all six winners. On days when there is no unique ticket, 70 percent of that day’s pool goes back to those bettors holding tickets with the most winners, while 30 percent is carried over to the jackpot pool. However, on mandatory payout days, the entire Rainbow 6 jackpot pool is paid out to those holding tickets with the most winners.
