Groupie Doll Looms Large in BC F&M Sprint
Multiple grade one winner Groupie Doll shoots for her fifth straight stakes win on Saturday in the Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Sprint (G1).
Even money favorite Groupie Doll has captured a pair of 2012 graded stakes at this seven furlong distance and will try to pounce on the leaders from post nine under Rajiv Maragh.
Musical Romance won the F&M Sprint at Churchill Downs last year and usually runs her tactical race. She drew post eight and is the 4-1 second choice.
Two-time F&M Sprint runner-up Switch will break from post ten under Garrett Gomez. She does some of her best work at seven panels.
Sharp 4-year-old filly Dust and Diamonds might attempt a wire job and G1 Ballerina winner Turbulent Descent returns to the West Coast for Todd Pletcher.
Teddy's Promise, Belle of the Hall, Strike the Moon, Rumor, and Great Hot are also entered.
