Following a week of intense activity at Royal Ascot, the international racing scene had a relatively quiet weekend, but it is possible a future star emerged in the shape of Grazen. The gray 3-year-old might have been making only his fourth lifetime start, but that didn’t prevent him from dominating the Affirmed Handicap (gr. III), leading throughout for an easy 2 3/4-length win while covering 8 1/2 furlongs of Hollywood Park’s Cushion Track in a sharp 1:41.4.
