Gran Premio Republica Argentina brings adrenaline to Palermo
The heart of the Buenos Aires will beat again Sunday with a new edition of the most popular international classic of the Argentinean equestrian calendar: the Gran Premio República Argentina (G1). It will be an unparalleled day with six Group 1 races showcasing the best Thoroughbred racehorses in the most emblematic Buenos Aires racetrack, Hipódromo Argentino de Palermo. The first post on the 17-race card is noon EDT.
The simulcast of the entire Gran República Argentina card from Palermo racetrack will be available for live stream on the Sky Racing World App, the Sky Racing World website and major ADW platforms. Fans can also get free access to past performances and at skyracingworld.com.
The following six Group 1 races will be held;
• The Gran Premio República Argentina (G1) for all horses 3 years old and older over 1 1/4 miles on the sand track
• The Gran Premio Criadores (G1) for mares 3 years old and older over 1 1/4 miles on the sand track
• The Gran Premio Montevideo (G1) for juveniles over 7 1/2 furlongs on the sand track
• The Gran Premio Ciudad de Buenos Aires (G1) for all horses 3 years old and older over 5 furlongs on the sand track
• The Gran Premio Jorge de Atucha (G1) for fillies over 7 1/2 furlongs on the sand track
• The Gran Premio de las Américas-OSAF (G1) for all horses 3 years old and older over 1 mile on the sand track.
The commingling of pools is now available on all Argentinian horse racing from the Hipódromo Argentino de Palermo for the American, Canadian, Caribbean and other International markets. PGI (owned by Tabcorp) is the exclusive international commingling hub for connecting into Palermo pools providing significant wagering liquidity for this great event.
