Grade I Winner Euroears to Stand in Oklahoma

Millionaire and grade I-winning sprinter Euroears, has been retired from racing and will begin his stud career in 2012 at JEH Stallion Station's Oklahoma Division near Wynnewood, Okla. His fee has been set at $4,500.

Campaigned by Jim and Marilyn Helzer of JEH, 7-year-old Euroears won or placed in 14 of 22 starts and earned $1,049,894. He captured the $250,000 Big Crosby Stakes (gr. I) in July while setting a six-furlong track record of 1:08.17 at Del Mar. This year, he also won the Palos Verdes Stakes (gr. II) and ran second in the Dubai Golden Shaheen Sponsored by Gulf News (UAE-I). He contested this year’s Sentient Jet Breeders’ Cup Sprint (gr. I).
