Warrior’s Reward, the Grade 1-winning son of Medaglia d’Oro, has relocated from Spendthrift Farm in Kentucky to WynOaks Farm in Delta, Pennsylvania, where he will stand the 2019 breeding season for $4,500 S&N with special consideration for mares foaling in Pennsylvania.

“I am grateful to Spendthrift Farm for giving us the opportunity to bring an established and highly-ranked sire to Pennsylvania,” said managing partner Donald Brown. “Warrior’s Reward has proven that he gives mares a chance to produce any quality of racehorse.”

A perennial leading sire of his crop, Warrior’s Reward is represented this year by eight black type winners, including multiple Graded stakes winner Axelrod, winner of the Smarty Jones Stakes (G3) and Indiana Derby (G3); Warrior’s Club, winner of the Commonwealth Stakes (G3) at Keeneland and second in the Alfred G. Vanderbilt Handicap (G1) at Saratoga; along with Yockey’s Warrior, Medal of Courage, T Rex Express, Georgia’s Reward, and Battle Station.

Winner of the Carter Handicap (G1) at four, defeating Musket Man and Munnings, Warrior’s Reward bankrolled $565,716 in a stellar racing career. He earned the co-highest Beyer Speed Figure by a 3-year-old of his crop with a 113, and all told, won four of 17 starts and placed in seven others, including the Jim Dandy Stakes (G2), Northern Dancer Stakes (G3), Dwyer Stakes (G2), Churchill Downs Stakes (G2), and the Phoenix Stakes (G3).

One of Medaglia d’Oro’s most brilliant Grade 1-winning sons, Warrior’s Reward is out of the Seeking the Gold mare For All You Do.

“Warrior’s Reward provides Pennsylvania breeders an awesome opportunity to breed to a proven stallion with a superb pedigree,” said stallion manager Thomas Reigle. “We believe breeders are really going to like him and we invite everyone to come out and see him at the farm.”
