Goldikova will not bid to win her 15th top-level race at Longchamp on Sunday as trainer Freddy Head has had a change of mind about the outstanding mare's autumn campaign.
Rather than running in the Prix du Moulin she will wait for the Prix de la Foret on October 2 before her bid for an unprecedented fourth Breeders' Cup Mile win.
Speaking at Longchamp on Sunday, Head said: "I have decided not to run her in the Moulin de Longchamp and go instead for the Foret as it is a better race to prepare her for her trip to Churchill Downs."
"Everything is being geared for her to win a fourth Breeders' Cup Mile. Goldikova is in very good shape."
