Godolphin leads breeders' earnings list for 4th straight year
In 2024, Godolphin again topped the individual breeders list in North America with $23,205,149 in earnings, according to statistics released by TJC Innovations. Godolphin, which also topped the list in 2021, 2022 and 2023, bred 229 starters with a record of 1,161: 226-169-186.
Calumet Farm was second for the fourth consecutive year with earnings of $13,923,897 with 371 wins out of 2,778 starts.
Godolphin also led the breeders list that includes partners, with $25,912,067 in earnings and 293 wins from 1,640 starts. Calumet Farm was second with $14,181,110 in earnings and 380 wins out of 2,862 starts.
Rounding out the top 10 individual breeders were Brereton C. Jones, $11,071,712; WinStar Farm, $10,057,543; Don Alberto Corp., $9,034,695; Stonestreet Thoroughbred Holdings, $7,679,445; Debby M. Oxley, $6,438,362; Peter E. Blum Thoroughbreds, $5,854,034; Gary & Mary West Stables, $5,631,929; and Repole Stable, $4,745,232.
Completing the list of the top 10 breeders including partnerships were WinStar Farm $12,206,112; Brereton C. Jones, $11,491,759; Don Alberto Corp., $9,277,665; Stonestreet Thoroughbred Holdings, $8,029,151; Debby M. Oxley, $6,442,567; Fred W. Hertrich III, $6,157,549 ; Peter E. Blum Thoroughbreds, $5,895,174; and Machmer Hall, $5,727,524.
