Godolphin's Moiety wins Sunday Keeneland feature

Godolphin Racing LLC Lessee’s Moiety, making her first start on dirt, drew off to a 7½-length victory over favored Hip Hop N Jazz to win the $64,000 Wild Aire Purse for fillies and mares before a Sunday afternoon crowd of 17,443.

Trained by Eoin Harty and ridden by Brian Hernandez Jr., Moiety ran the 6½ furlongs on the fast main track in 1:16.48.

A 3-year-old Kentucky-bred daughter of Bernardini out of the Ghadeer (FR) mare Be Happy (BRZ), Moiety had made her first three starts on all-weather surfaces at Arlington Park and Woodbine.

Now sporting a 4-3-1-0 record, Moiety earned $38,400 for Sunday’s victory that increased her bankroll to $83,022.

Moiety returned $10.60, $4.40 and $3.60. Hip Hop N Jazz, ridden by Joe Bravo, returned $3.40 and $2.40 with Improv running third under James Graham and paying $3.20 to show.

Racing resumes Wednesday with an eight-race program beginning at 1:05 p.m. ET.

The Super High 5 carryover for that day is $36,731,38.
