Gift Box, By My Standards highlight Friday's graded stakes works
Gift Box returned to the worktab at Del Mar for the first time in 167 days. The Grade 1 winner, who has not races since winning the San Antonio in December, is gearing up for a fall campaign. He traveled an easy three furlongs on Friday for trainer John Sadler. Multiple Grade 2 winner By My Standards, who was recently second in the Whitney Stakes, worked four furlongs at Churchill Downs for trainer William Bret Calhoun.
