Bob Baffert was ecstatic. His Kentucky Derby contender had just worked out and the trainer, one of the most astute in the sport's history, was certain that the colt was going to run big. How could he not? The workout, apparently, was that good.
"He really was aggressive," Baffert said. "That's probably the best he's worked in his life."
