Getmotherarose, owned by the Mary Abeel Sullivan Revocable Trust and trained by Tom Bush, split horses at the head of the stretch before driving to a 1 1/2-length victory in the $150,000 Honey Fox (G3) Saturday at Gulfstream Park.

A 4-year-old filly by Get Stormy coming off a fourth-place finish in the South Beach, Getmotherarose covered a firm mile turf course in 1:34.73. Getmotherarose broke her maiden in June at Belmont Park for a $40,000 maiden claiming tag. She has since won four of seven starts.

Breaking alertly under jockey Junior Alvarado, Getmotherarose saved ground along the first turn and was rated seventh while Silver Kitten was pressed by Valedictorian through an opening quarter in :23.07 and a half in :46.79. After slowly moving closer down the backstretch, Getmotherarose split La Feve and Atomic Blonde entering the stretch and drove to the front inside the final sixteenth.

Silver Kitten was second and Sister Hanan was third.
