George Vancouver wins the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf!

The Aidan O'Brien trainee got a perfect trip under jockey Ryan Moore in the 1-mile race at Santa Anita. Fast-closing American colts Noble Tune and Balance The Books, both trained by Chad Brown, filled out the trifecta.

A full field of 12 evenly-matched juveniles contested the race, which featured four classy Europeans. George Vancouver is sired by 2008 BC Classic runner-up Henrythenavigator and owned by Coolmore. The colt paid $20.60 for the win. It was the 4th win in the Juvenile Turf for a European-based colt, a sweep for Europeans in the race at Santa Anita.
