Frizette Next for Position Limit

Todd Pletcher said Monday that Starlight Partners' Position Limit is “excellent” following her five-length winning performance in Sunday's Grade 2 Adirondack.

“She's doing excellent," he said. "She came back to the barn in great shape and she looks great this morning.”

Position Limit, a 2-year-old daughter of Bellamy Road, is undefeated in two starts after breaking her maiden impressively upon debut in a July 14 maiden race at Belmont Park, which earned her a spot on NYRA’s “New York Watch” list.

Pletcher said Sunday that Position Limit would likely be pointed towards the Grade 1, $300,000 Frizette at Belmont Park on October 9.

Pletcher added that Life At Ten, who has won her last six races, including the Grade 1 Ogden Phipps Handicap and the Grade 2 Delaware Handicap, is on target to face Rachel Alexandra in the Grade 1, $300,000 Personal Ensign at 10 furlongs at Saratoga on August 29. On Sunday, Life At Ten breezed five furlongs over the main track in 1:01.98.
