Thorpedo Anna, the reigning horse of the year, completed her major preparation for the Grade 2, $500,000 Fleur de Lis on June 28 with a swift half-mile move in 47.8 seconds Friday morning at Churchill Downs under jockey Brian Hernandez Jr.

Trained by Kenny McPeek, Thorpedo Anna is expected to headline the Fleur de Lis, one of six stakes on a card that also features the $1 million Stephen Foster (G1). The Fleur de Lis awards a bid to the Breeders' Cup Distaff.
