Friday works: Undefeated Disco Time returns, leads 16 on the tab

Disco Time, the undefeated colt trained by Brad Cox, worked Friday morning for the first time since winning the listed Dwyer at Aqueduct on Nov. 8.

The 3-year-old son of Not This Time breezed four furlongs in 49.0 seconds at Payson Park Training Center, fourth fastest of 14 at the distance.

Disco Time, a Juddmonte homebred, was 0-for-2 as a juvenile and started the year with a win in the Grade 2 Lecomte in January. After a setback, he resurfaced in September to win the St. Louis Derby ahead of the Dwyer.

Mystic Lake (Mo Town), a two-time Grade 2 winner (2025 Inside Information, 2024 Charles Town Oaks), worked three furlongs in 36.9 seconds at Palm Meadows on Friday morning. It was the second fastest of 21 works at the distance. Her previous work was six days ago going three furlongs at Palm Meadows. In her last start she won the Liberty Bell going 6 1/2 furlongs on the main track at Parx on Sept. 20 for trainer Saffie Joseph Jr.

Indy Bay (Take Charge Indy), a Grade 2 winner (2025 Charles Town Oaks), worked three furlongs in 39.4 seconds at Palm Meadows on Friday morning. It was the 20th fastest of 21 works at the distance. This was her first work since her last race. In her last start she placed seventh in the Cotillion (G1) going 1 1/16 miles on the main track at Parx on Sept. 20 for trainer Saffie Joseph Jr.

Watsonville (Jack Milton), a Grade 2 winner (2023 Mathis Mile), worked five furlongs in 1:01.2 at Santa Anita on Friday morning. It was the ninth fastest of 19 works at the distance. His previous work was 11 days ago going four furlongs at Santa Anita. In his last start he placed third in the Lure going one mile on the turf at Santa Anita on Oct. 18 for trainer Mark Glatt.
